ChiefsPlanet - Chiefs Fire Bob Sutton

Sutton is gone, but it is 2-3 years too late. It's obvious his shit doesn't work in the playoffs, and has been obvious since the first Indy loss way back. Shutting down crappy offenses during the regular season -- who cares, Greg Robinson did that.

I take a simplistic view on tonight's game. We have known (pretty much) from day one that this D sucked. We have complained about that old man for a couple of years now and yet, he is STILL there.

I TRULY believe that unless he "retires" - Fat Andy will NOT fire him and it will be more of the same old shit the coming year.

Frankly, I would surprised if Sutton retires....so I expect him back for another fun-filled season of bullshit. ;)

Since you brought Veach into this, this is also on him as well. His FA signings has been an disaster.

Hitchens was complete trash. Williams wasn't that great on run stuffing. Scandrick was ass. None of the defensive picks translated at all on the field.

Agreed.

Mahomes’ second half was legendary... he freaking led the offense to 31 points on 32 second half plays against arguably the greatest defensive mind/coach in NFL history.

And despite that Sutton can’t even give Mahomes a chance in OT.

Sutton should have been fired in the locker room, his car should have been towed from the Arrowhead parking lot and he should have been forced to walk home in subzero temperatures for not giving Mahomes a chance in OT.
