he didn't play those because of size...he's proven in limited snaps that he's a better player than Jackson, who imo has proven exactly ****ing nothing

Gilberry claims he put on 15 lbs and wants to be a 3 down player...we'll see...I'm still not sure that's big enough

He played enough last year to make me see why he's just a 3rd down player. If he can play 1st and 2nd, then good but I haven't seen anything to make me think that. He's too small and gets pushed around easy.

i agree that they're probably intending Jackson to start....just makes me nervous...Smith was a perfect rotation body

aside from a NT, seems we need another vet DE unless, again, they think Gilberry can step up...or they are really sold on Bailey

Every new Panthers signing makes me wonder how much $ Jerry Richardson really pocketed last year. Must have been a boatload ...

I would say from McClain's showing Chiefs fans begging for him to come here on his twitter that he's likely coming here.

I'm glad they didn't pay Shaun Smith that. Too much for a guy who wears out his welcome places.

Michael Koenen's 6yr deal with Tampa agreed to last is one of biggest ever in NFL history for a punter - $19M with $6M guarantee.

I guess Tampa has to hand all their money to someone.

Especially the Buccaneers front office. They gave 2 back ups starting money.

Pretty much, they are not committed to winning.

The Shaun Smith news sucks, but it happens some times. I wish Big Shaun good luck. I think we are going to land someone like Aubrayo Franklin and possibly someone else to go along with Powe. Jackson, Gillberry and Bailey will hold down the SDE spot.

Eh. He will likely play way more snaps in Tenn than here. Can't really blame him for leaving.

Yeah, I did. It's obvious you have never seen the Buccaneers play or you wouldn't make the ridiculous statement about Davin Joseph being one of the best young guards. The guy is absolute trash and at this point I want him to just take his money and get to the trainers room. At least with that scrub on the bench Blount and Freeman have a chance.
