Come on Mizzou, not much time left!

stonedstooge 12-30-2011 08:08 PM

w00t. Good win for the Tigers

WHEW!

Good win on the road

mnchiefsguy 12-30-2011 08:09 PM

Great home run pass to seal it....and good defense right up to the buzzer.

Mizzou has to feel good heading into conference play...but they still have plenty to work on if they want to keep things going.

petegz28 12-30-2011 08:09 PM

Outplayed on the boards, shot cold from the line and quiet from 3 land until Denmon got hot for a couple and we still pull out the win on the road against a good defense who shot better than they have all year and probably will all year

stonedstooge 12-30-2011 08:09 PM

Conference play is going to be tough again this year

First true road game for Mizzou, isn't it? Everything away from Columbia so far has been on a neutral floor.

Conference play is always tough. But at least Mizzou has given itself some breathing room in terms of the tourney by stacking up a bunch of wins early on.

I believe so. Baylor won a close one the other night as well on the road. Just shows road games are tough no matter who you play.

If we play the way we are we should be a #3 or #4 seed in the tourney, I'd say. If we somehow we do dominate the Big 12 then a #1 or #2 could be in the future ...but let's not go there yet

The crowd at ODU appeared pretty pumped. The announcers said it was the highest ranked opponent ODU had every played at home. I think they would have stormed the court had they pulled off the upset.....

And Wickedson says Mizzou BBall gets no respect....

Molitoth 12-30-2011 08:13 PM

That was rough

Yeah they would have. ODU came to play and played a damn good game. But it was nice to see MU be able to beat a team that was much bigger than them while they were not having their best shooting performance.

Definitely not going there in terms of seeding. Just want the team to keeping winning to cement a spot in the tourney. After that, then we can worry about seeding.

Gotta give Haith an A for his job so far....let's see how he handles conference play.
