Baltimore, the Cubs and Houston all now have worse records than we do. Seattle is only one game better, and that's after losing 17 in a row!

We need to try harder if we're going to get that #1 pick this year.

C'MON NED start Davies every fifth day!

I know! These guys are too dumb to tank the season!

There's still time to win the division.

I kept a straight face too.

In all honesty, the division sucks, and the Royals seriously could win it. 11 games can be made up in 2 months, right?

Maybe.... if we had more pitching... as it is, no.

It would be a great first to worst to first story though.

Exactly. Doesn't matter who it's for. Just get him and his "stuff" out of here.

Sure-Oz 07-29-2011 06:30 PM

Melky increasing that trade value with a GS

Dr. Johnny Fever 07-29-2011 06:33 PM

Give us a poor defensive catcher with no bat in A ball and you can have Davies now..... and we'll laugh at the team who does it.

Royals manager Ned Yost isn't ready to make any changes to his current six-man rotation of starting pitchers.

He's been giving it consideration after noticing a fall-off in command of pitches in recent performances, although Kyle Davies and Luke Hochevar had good outings in their most recent starts.

"I'm not going to make any decisions until the off-day," Yost said. "I still think they'd be sharper on a five, rather than a six."
Say there, Ned. How about dropping the guy who is 1-9 with a 6.75 ERA out of the rotation? Just a suggestion.

Don't go inserting logic please. We have 6 GOOD ARMS WE MUST USE THEM ALL!

So if Ned thinks 5 is better than 6.... thank Dayton?

Am I to assume that all we will get during the trade deadline timeline will be the 2 guys that won't ever play in the big leagues?
