I'll force feed them to animals in the zoo. ARRRRRRRRRAGH.

Do you throw them on the ground wherever you go, too?

I already said that I include all common areas in which the public shares, including the common areas within apartment complexes. The virtue is the act of not exposing others to the deadly consequences of your own risky behavior.

I have also stated that I believe anything a person does within the confines of their own environment is perfectly legitimate. What part about that don't you understand?

Are you paying good money to the people who ultimately have to clean up after your arrogant attitude?

Yes sir. I'm paying good enough money because of the arrogant attitudes of non smokers who decided to pass their share of the tax burden on to smokers.

Somehow I'm also confident that all that tax money I pay will compensate those workers the state hires to clean those butts up. Not what they had planned, but I guess that's tough shit.

What about when you litter on private property?

The common areas withing apartment and condo complexes are not the issue. The very commonality of living in a complex (whether you rent or own) is the issue.

Are you okay with your next door neighbor's smoke sometimes escaping his personal residence when you might be so inconvenienced you that become aware that he smokes?

I'll bet you are.

Go ahead, admit it.

Hey here's an idea... quit smoking. I know it is tough, my girlfriend quit after smoking for 14 years. But she did it.

I'll admit it. I'll bitch to hotels when I'm anywhere near the smoking rooms. I'm paying for a product and I'm not paying for one that reeks of stale ass.

R&GHomer 01-31-2008 11:54 AM

I'd vote NO. Who is to say that I can't friggen smoke outside!

Common areas within apartment complexes is the issue. Commonality is precisely why we should respect the wishes of others and not intrude upon them. The entire reason states have been forced to take charge is because the tobacco lobby has too much influence on the federal government.

Actually, the odor doesn't bother me as much as the ill-effects. As long as I'm not breathing in smoke, the odor is no more offensive than a shit fart.
