Pat Willis was better IMO, and there were people "in the know" "in the business of football" who were saying that Curry was better, bigger, faster version of Willis. Regardless, it's the point of people screaming "positional value" about a strong side backer, but then those same people are now saying it's okay to use a top five pick on a strong safety. I wouldn't mind it one bit if the Chiefs drafted O'Dowd with one of their second round picks next year - if he lasts that long.

It's because those safeties are rare, you see LB's like Curry a lot more often.
