Not sure how you can want Baltimore winning any more games. The royals have to start passing teams. Baltimore gets swept is a much better outcome than them winning IMO.

The Tuesday loss to the Indians is going to be to much to overcome, especially after the tribe is gifted a 7 inning win tonight.

Edit: I'd love to be wrong but that is my but feeling.

Yeah, garbage win for the Tribe. Of course, them winning in extras last night sucked as well.

We have hashed this all night so far, a TB win cuts our magic number down! Plus the O's have NY and Boston to play through!

This is simple math, not hard to figure out!

Strongly disagree. If TB sweeps, the O's are of no more concern to the royals. The royals would have to let them back in it, making the magic number irrelevant. They are not climbing to WC #1 spot. . It comes down to TB and the tribe.

Edit: O's win = 3 teams to climb over for WC2. TB win = tied w/ O's and two teams to climb over with one being Texas.

Only problem with that is it likely means the Royals are 3 back of the WC with 7 games to play.

With Cleveland's schedule, they will be the 1 WC. You are just not looking at it with a clear head. Right now we don't want any one team just walking away with the 1, we want every damn team to lose that benefits us the most. Baltimore will falter having to face NY and Boston after TB. TB still has Boston I think. NY has an easier time, but not like Cleveland. Yost took us out of catching the Tribe, if we are to have a chance, we have to get by Texas, NY & TB.

I'll tell you this much, if Baltimore wins enough to get the 2, they deserve it with their remaining schedule.
