Oh fun, a hurricane is about to hit LA this weekend.
If it stays official hurricane speed, it will be the first time since 1858 I'm not sure LA is ready for 80mph winds. The deserts are screwed. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Hurricane Hilary will bring 2-3 years of rain in 3 days to the deserts. Catastrophic flooding is possible.<br><br>Get ready, California. <a href="https://t.co/SYKGk3utr7">https://t.co/SYKGk3utr7</a> <a href="https://t.co/k9pxnD7j7n">pic.twitter.com/k9pxnD7j7n</a></p>— Eric Holthaus (@EricHolthaus) <a href="https://twitter.com/EricHolthaus/status/1692199297385730192?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 17, 2023</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
Yes!!!!! More Complaining about the weather and calling it Global Warming from the Left Coasters.
Yet ignoring anything that happens in the Midwest. Hope it goes to Georgia |

I know not a lot of people here care much but this hurricane is nuts, Temecula got 9 inches of rain last year (this year more but still) and they are projecting 10 or more inches there in like 24 hours.
I know people here have visited San Diego a lot so please understand what the could potentially do |

Doesn’t California need the rain?
I get they don’t need it all at once but shouldn’t it help? |
