I guess we'll know how they feel about Gilberry and Bailey based on who they sign.
But it'd be nice to have someone who can give some more rest to Dorsey because he played WAY too many snaps last year. |

NFL Network's Scott Hanson, on site at #Jets headquarters, reports that "the runway is cleared" for Nnamdi Asomugha to land in New York. |
This is turning into a disaster for the Chiefs.

The Chiefs are still expected to sign free agent FB Le'Ron McClain, although nothing is imminent.
We know that McClain badly wants a role as a ball-carrier, so perhaps he's still searching for that opportunity. As long as Thomas Jones sticks in Kansas City, there wouldn't be much room for McClain to do anything but lead block. O plz cut jones........ |

We brought in a 3rd WR. We're the frontrunners for the best NT and the best big back on the market. We're not a team suffering from that many holes. We're largely built the way we need to be right now. We could probably use some help at the tackle position but we're not dying there. Rather than free agency, we just need time to run its course, let the young talent either mature or derail, and then plug away every April at the spots we need to fill. I don't know what else you want rather than a Dan Snyder sign-o-rama. |

Well, we've lost Edwards and Smith. If Powe can replace one of those guys right out of the gate, I guess Franklin would be plenty. I have my doubts though, so I hope we have a contingency plan on NT.
If we lost out on Franklin now, we'd be ****ed. |
This is what a disaster looks like:
