There you go. That is Quiz and Floyd Bannister there on the left and they are blasting Lonnie Smith, Willie Wilson and John Wathon

Um, he's batting .222.

In about like 1/6 of a season. You have a hard time understanding sample size. All I'm saying in two full seasons he hit above .300 each time. I fully expect him to be a .260 hitter or something in the long run, but he has reason to be unhappy as a back up on one of the worst teams in baseball. End of story.

Left-handed reliever Everett Teaford is being recalled from Triple-A Omaha to take Davies' spot on the 25-man roster for Tuesday night's game against Baltimore.

$5000 for the first person to hit Kyle Davies with a car.

Quiz used to hose down the fans in Right Field GA on hot days.... ah, those were good times then.

Moore said today the goal is to get Gio 100-150 AB's this season, which would have him coming up mid august-ish. Also, he has to be on the 40 before the end of the season to protect him from the Rule 5, so I don't see how we won't be fist pumping with Giovatella soon.

Also, Yost says he will get the moose/escobar treatment once he is up. Goodbye Getz.

Those game threads were performing worse than Davies going to Yuni's left.

In the three and a half weeks since they supposedly "fixed" Hochevar... he's now 3-0, 2.70 ERA, 8 BB/19 K. The Royals have won every one of his starts... although that's kind of a fluke stat. The Royals actually haven't lost a game Hoch has started in a month and a half.

I was actually thinking about that during the game. Hasn't he had 3 real good starts and one iffy one since the break? I think this is the 3rd time he's thrown 7 innings in his last 4 starts.

The whole team is playing better it seems. If they win tomorrow, I think they'll have won 4 out of their last 5 series (the 1 being the split in Boston). They blew chunks against the Twins right after the break so they'd be 4 out of 6 total since then, but still...

And I'm not sure what the hell has gotten into Butler, he's on a freaking home run tear right now. 6 home runs in the first half, and 7 in the last month.
