I actually disagree with that. Denver has Manning, and the league's rules make Manning unbeatable. You could put Manning on the Jaguars and they would be 10-2. Nothing else matters any more, which is ruining the sport.

Without Manning, the Broncos are a 5-11 team tops.

The concerning thing, based on how the Chiefs have allocated their payroll and draft picks/free agency is that the defense is supposed to be the strength of this team.

Mellinger from the KC Star recently wrote that the Chiefs spend the second highest % of their payroll, in the NFL, on defense.

Obviously the Chiefs are not getting a return on their investment.
