So we're trying to sell some of my grandpas shit. Dad found a guy that might be interested in these 2 vehicles. Anybody have any idea what this shit might be worth?
1983 GMC 3/4 ton 454 with a LP kit (I don't even..) but the Quadrajet is still on there. I think you're just supposed to flip a switch to get it back to gasoline. Sat for probably 6 years, but I think it runs. Pretty straight everywhere. Didn't see rust anywhere.
Spoiler!
I think it is a 1975 (ish?) I'll have to check on the year Chrysler New Yorker. They bought this new and it has 34,000 actual miles. Dad says it has a 383 in it. It's really straight and no rust. Been inside as long as I've been alive. But it's sat for probably 20 years. I can't imagine the motor is bad, but I can't imagine it doesn't need something. The 8-track is complimentary.
Spoiler!
Anybody have any ideas what we need to get out of these? |

Hopefully SAUTO can look at these. |
That truck looks really solid. 2wd? Has it ran on lp always? Miles?
. |
The car is harder to price. Im on the road but I've got some questions about it too ill ask when I get back to the shop
|
Those engines that only have run on lp usually are like brand new inside. That shit burns clean.

I think it has had LP the whole time. Odo says 38,000, Dad says he thinks it is 138. Knowing who owned it, I'd bet it's never worked hard a day in it's life. |

I think he's a little high. The car is tougher. Its nice, straight looking. Interior is perfect. I bought a 79 coupe deville 8 or 9 years ago that was every bit as clean but had around 60k. Had everything that came from the factory and out all worked. I paid 1750 for it. Is it just missing one hub cap? That could be tough to find. |
Its missing both hub caps on this side. Damn

I presume I can make it run, but I don't know for sure. I'm not wanting to put a shitload of work on it. I'd guess that 5000 is for clean and runs? |
Ill do some looking and thinking and get back to you
