You guys will bitch about anything.

I'm a bit surprised by the pick, but it certainly wasn't a bad one.
He's widely considered to be the third or fourth-best TE in the class.
Some even think he's the most well-rounded.

Fasano's the starter, but tell me with a straight face you're confident Moeaki will EVER stay healthy for a full season.

Tony is constantly hurt, and was the only player not able to participate in mini-camp. There were some other guys I wanted, but Kelce is a good player.

Using the raiders as proof isn't exactly going to sell too many people. The one franchise that is a bigger joke than ours.

I am curious who is going to be our starting ILB's since one of them offed themselves and hasn't been replaced.

It's clear Ried wants to re-create the same strong Oline that Alex had in SF.

Kelce caught 8 TD's his senior season. He can do that too.

There's that.

At least I'm not a Jags fan...

Jason Dunn was incredibly valuable to our team during the Vermeil years.

There is nothing wrong with taking an elite blocking TE if he is truly that.

You guys need to get a grip.

Or don't. Because it's funny.

As the 2nd TE?

Yeah, I was really kind of hoping he could manage that much...

63. Travis Kelce, TE, Cincinnati: C- Grade
Tight end was not a need with Tony Moeaki and Anthony Fasano on the roster. Travis Kelce could eventually emerge as an upgrade, but only if he stays out of trouble. He has off-the-field issues. This pick isn't very good.

Hootie 04-26-2013 06:55 PM

GoChiefs post that great stat about 2nd round QB's success rate in the NFL. Because that is what Geno is.

Tell me with a straight face that TE is really that big of a concern for us this early in the draft.
