Last I rode in it was when I was a kid and I can verify it rode like a damned dream. I think I made it like 2 miles before I was zonked out in the back seat.

It has the shitty old mechanical one on the side of the block. I was thinking about getting one of the fuel pump and regulators to put up on the fender well inside since there is about 3 acres of space on each one

Our 80 had a shitload of trouble with vapor lock. It’s possible we didn’t have something right with the carb. We put a motor in from I think an 89 or something. Either way, We put ours back by the gas tank. The line is pretty easy to get to and it’s away from all the heat.

Yeah it will be a good one, I’m not taking any chances with a cheap one. With my luck I will have to go through a couple to find one that works then it will leave me stranded somewhere a few hours from home in the middle of the night

I am doing all new fuel and brake lines so I might put the pump at the tank and a regulator on the fender. I was thinking only one line cut that way but if I’m replacing everything it won’t matter
