Also-I think that ditching the 3-4 is just something that should be done. When everyone ran a 4-3, running a 3-4 was a smart move as those 'tweener' type lb'ers were plentiful and undervalued. Now that half of the league runs a 3-4 that's not true anymore. I'd think about tagging and trading Ford, switching to a 4-3 and having Speaks play DE at about 280. Houston put his hand in the dirt at RDE at about 260. Maybe Kpass would be reasonably decent at his natural position. Definitely draft DE and DT. Hitchens, O'Daniel and a FA LB. Still need a S, and a starting CB.

Bellichek runs a 3/4. Here is the difference. He knows how to find "no name talent" and knows exactly what he wants in his scheming thus finding those type of players and not overwhelming them as he takes away your best players. Bellichek has an eye for talent, knows you better than you know yourself and can stop you most of the time. 3/4 is the best when you have the right players (and there is the challenge)because it disguises the blitzes much better and you can defense more offensive weapons:thumb:

True. But if the Kingdom rumblings turn into earthquakes I think Clark goes to Andy and has that conversation

I’ll be 100% surprised if he actually follows through.

For all of Sutton's flaws especially not making adjustments, you wonder how much say so he has in the draft ? Actually identifying talent ? I'm not a Sutton fan BUT.....there IS the other side of the coin that we really don't know. Asking someone to produce lemonade from mostly rotten lemons week after week is impossible:shrug:

He was asked a few times about Sutton and didn't say anything which I take as a good sign because he didn't say he was coming back and didn't really defend him. But he is not going to throw him under the bus in front of the media.

Yeah, he is not going to announce a firing/departure at a press conference.
