That does not sound good. Hopefully he can play through the pain.

As a KU fan I wanted to play MU one more time. But we got our butts beat tonight. Baylor played a great basketball game. If they play tomorrow night with that intensity, should be a good game.

Hope English is able to play tomorrow night. He sounded a little bitter after the game about the play and I'll bet that hes gonna hurt alot in the morning.

Good luck to you guys.

I thought that too. He is normally not like that.

I'm sure some stuff was said during the game to make him think that.

Good work on that whole "coach of the year" thing, Big XII.

You're disconnected from reality.

Had a great time at the Sprint Center for this one. I wanted to play KU one more time in the final, but it was just as sweet watching them lose and then seeing their fans outside the arena dumping their championship tickets.

No, I wanted to play again. I think it would have been an awesome game to be at (and I still have my tickets for tomorrow, Baylor/Missouri should be great too). But I can't say I'm too broken up about the fact that the rivalry supposedly ended with the amazing KU/MU OT game at AFH.

Bought 7 tickets for $60/piece in the lower bowl tomorrow.

Gotta think those would've cost me a fair amount more had KU not yacked that one up.

Though like most, I wanted another shot at KU (or honestly, KSU). On the flipside, I'm thinking Baylor probably wanted another shot at Mizzou, so this may not be the best news for Missouri fans.

I can't imagine us keeping Jones under wraps again.

Congrats MU . Cant say I`m not dissapointed KU and MU aren't playing in the final..but Baylor kicked our butts. I`m rooting for Baylor, but I wont be hurt if you guys win...hopefully MU and KU can meet up down the road in the big dance!

Yes, only the best coach in the Big 12 could beat Texas in the tournament.

Baylor seems to have remembered they have a ton of talent. This is not the same team that KU and MU swept.

Haith had Mizzou ready to go. Interesting that both Self and Hoiberg had their teams under perform this weekend, and Haith has his guys playing on all cylinders.

Haith was robbed.

By this logic, since you think Haith is NCOY, he fails if he doesn't win the NC.

gblowfish 03-10-2012 08:32 AM

Denmon and English are both banged up. Except for Matt Pressey tweaking an ankle a couple games ago, Mizzou's been pretty lucky to stay injury free. Since they only go seven deep, having guys get hurt really puts a hammer on them. I watched English's injury this AM. It looked accidental to me. And it looked like it got him up towards the hip, so hopefully it will just be a bad bruise and nothing serious. Denmon's ankle may be a bigger concern. It would be a damn shame to come this far and then have two of your seniors get stopped or slowed by injuries. Time to sack up and do this, Mizzou. I'm very proud of my Tigers.
