This is easily corrected. Get an SUV and drive farther. That should even out the averages.

LMAO

In other words you should warn everyone when you are about to fill up so that we know to wait for a couple of day.

Crude still climbing. Now at $105.35. Gasoline oddly level for the moment.

BigMeatballDave 07-10-2013 08:15 AM

I saw gas @ 2.99 a few days ago in Tulsa.

With a car wash discounted price I paid $3.00 in St. Charles (MO) over the weekend.

Felt like I was getting it for free.

I paid $3.16 in Joplin last Wednesday. A week later it's $3.39 in KC.

Donger 07-10-2013 01:26 PM

Eh. Now at $106.08 (up 2.46%) That's a 16 month high.

Not sure where you get the oddly level from....gas has gone up at the pump almost .30 in the last four-five days.

Dayze 07-10-2013 03:53 PM

We have been conditioned. This is like the frog in the pot, he never knows it is getting hotter as long he is in the water. We have gotten so used to these prices that any reduction is exciting even if it is still twice what we were paying just a few years ago (ok. 10-15 years).

Demand actually is up 2.5% more than this time last year.

Crude supplies also dropped by 10 million barrels last week.

Throw in Egypt, and this is what you get.

Thanks Bush!

I always knew I hated Egypt for some reason.
