Dexter McCluster is a luxury pick. If some team with few needs wanted to take him in Round 2, that would have been fine. The Chiefs don't have that luxury because of all of their primary needs. (Pick Grade: C)

50. Javier Arenas, CB/KR, Alabama
The Chiefs just drafted a nickel corner and kick returner when they still have issues with quarterback protection and pass rush. Not a good weekend to be a Chiefs fan. (Pick Grade: C) ..

That's basically spot on, we needed starters with these picks, not luxury players.

Because for a winning franchise like the Ravens CODY AND KINDLE ARENT NEEDS. They already have those positions locked with great players, but the Ravens, unlike us, continue to be smart and take the best guy there. They can groom these guys for years to come. Kindle behind Suggs and Cody behind Ngata. It's sad that every 3-4 defense in the NFL might have second string depth better than the Chiefs starting front 7.

For the record Ngata plays end for the Ravens, they will actually have him and Cody on the field together at times.
