No, the tourney is just a crap shoot

Yet Coach K, Roy, and Izzo make the final four on a regular basis. Underachieving teams call it a crap shoot when they want to pretend that they are truly elite.

Jesus, you're a tool.

Congrats Mizzou.

Good luck against Baylor.

Tourney is a crapshoot, but those imaginary peach basket titles in the 20's sure were earned!!! KU would have another 5 or even 6 titles if only the Helm foundation voted on the champ every year...bitches!!

It's the final dance in the Big 12 for Mizzou. I think I need to sing about it!

Awesome. KU has a nice singing voice, but she looks odd wearing K-State colors.

Re: Thomas Robinson's, "this tournament isn't that important" comments after last night's loss. Would Mizzou fans be a little annoyed if Marcus Denmon said something similar after a loss? I mean, I get it. His team lost so he is trying to rationalize it. But, if you were a ku player, playing in a city that ku is so desperately trying to stamp as their own, would you make those comments?

Doesn't really matter, though. His huge pay check is coming regardless.

Hope we lay it on Baylor tonight...

T-Rob's comments would slightly annoy me but he does what he does. I felt he couldve had a better game

Trevo_410 03-10-2012 09:29 AM

tickets were selling for as low as 20$ a piece earlier on....

I know Mizzou has beaten Baylor twice this year but they need to come out firing on all cylinders if they want to win. They cannot afford to overlook them. Mizzou needs this win if they want any shot at a possible #1 seed. I think if they win, they will take KUs #1 seed from them. I can't see how a 6 loss KU team that did not win the tournament, nor even make it to the finals gets a #1 over a 4 loss Mizzou team that wins their tournament, especially seeing how they split the regular season series.

If one was a KU fan and spent $500 bucks a ticket to come down to Kemper to cheer on the Jayhawks, I would think they would be severely disappointed tp say the least at the level of effort they put on the court. It might not be that important to KU, but what kind of message does that send to their fans in KC and to the city. Guess all of those billboards they have around team really don't mean much.

Baylor played maybe their best games of the season last night. Hopefully tons of Mizzou fans scooped up KU tickets and Sprint will be rocking. Mizzou will need to have a very good game to win. On the other hand, Baylor will need also need a very good game, for the second night in the row. Maybe Baylor will be content with beating KU and come out flat.

Could also swing both ways. How does a team that didn't win their regular season conference and actually lost it by two games get a one seed?

I don't know, how does a football team that lost their division end up with a better bowl game than the winner?
