What a huge disappointment this dude has been.

Almost everyone (that knows a little something about Baseball) thought he would struggle adjusting to MLB. I have NO problem with this. It's great experience, and valuable together time with the core that will be here next season. This kid has hit at all levels, and he will he'll be fine next season (+.260, 15-20 HR's and 60+ RBI). He doesn't need to be a world beater, just needs to be productive when it counts (6 hole hitter).

Completely agree, although I am surprised he has struggled this much. Strong character guy, so he will find his way despite the struggles.

Oh i figured he would struggle a bit.....most rooks do. But come on, 1 HR and .189 avg is pretty bad for anybody. It looks like he wasnt ready.

Seitzer is probably working over his swing. Have faith in the Seitzer! Moose will come around.

Yeah, but he's been reeeeeallly reeeeallllly bad. It's starting to get a little worrisome.

Demonpenz 08-09-2011 11:49 AM

Alex Gordon took 5 years and now he is League MVP. George Brett sucked the first year and he cured White peoples bad dancing!

Reaper16 08-09-2011 11:52 AM

Anthony Rizzo (Padres) is struggling too. This sort of thing happens, even to universally-acclaimed prospects. Everybody in the scout world has every confidence both Rizzo and Moustakas are going to be fine.

DeezNutz 08-09-2011 11:55 AM

I think Moose will be fine, too, but I think he'll be an average or slightly above average ML player.

I don't see him as an elite prospect, though, like a Hosmer.

Alex is FAAAAAR from league MVP. Don't know if you've noticed or anything, but his team is in last place. MVP's put a team on their back and carry them to wins. George Brett could do that. Alex, not so much.

I think you've been Demonpenz'd

Besides we all know Billy Butler is league MVP.

I don't know man. There's so many guys that have been drinking DM's blue koolaid around here, sometimes I can't tell if they're serious or not.

This would be a legit post on the Royals' own fan board. Those people are re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic over there.
