Same for me slag. I have been dying to have one for about two weeks now. Just fighting them off everyday.

I just have to keep telling myself.. No matter what... Dont Pick up a Cig.. No Matter what

Its crazy that they dont ever go away eh?

Resort to nic. gum before you relapse. But I know you well enough to know; you realize starting back now would just be dumb.

Hang in there guys. You know you're better off for it.

No smokes for me now for 4 years and 5 months. I can't remember the last time I even thought about it. But I remember going through some trying times......just like being a Chiefs fan. ;)

Yeah it is. You think they are gone and out of nowhere the cravings come back. Been smoke for over six months. It's really tough when you go through rough times.

Yeah, that's what I say to myself. It'd be a waste of six months if I started back.

Yeah, I smoked too, I smoked for 12 yrs. one to one and a half pks. per day. And from say 97 to 2000 tobacco wasn't all I was smoking. Pot was my choice. But I quit strongly in 2000.

I had a craving for a cig 10 years after I quit.

When you say 'craving,' what does that mean? Does that mean that you wanted to feel smoke flowing into your lungs, wanted to go buy a packet of cigarettes, what?

I have not one but two buddies who quit completely for 2 years and then started smoking again. They both said they missed it every day. I'm not sure the craving ever goes away.
