Playing a lot of home games in the last 2 months should help turn that around this season.

That's a good point.

Don't pretend Eli was a difference of Alex. Eli dropped back 60 times.

There is usually the what ifs where 1 play could change the outcome.

Eli's typical INT or 2 didn't happen. Because 1 was caught on the sideline out of bounds and 1 was 49ers slamming into each other both going for the catch. The strip fumble of Bradshaw was blown dead.

Eli Manning made 2 or 3 big plays when the Giants had to have them.
Alex Smith didn't.

"Clutch" is where you retreat to when you have no basis for what you are saying

Or when you want to compare actual accomplishments with abstract numbers and statistics...

What plays? Eli had 17 yards passing in 2 drives in overtime of that game.

But this is a stupid ****ing post, and makes me wonder what kind of ****ing moron you really are.

It's ALL just ****ing hope, dude.

Our reasoning for being a little more optimistic about this chiefs team is perfectly reasonable-- Dorsey addressed large holes on this team.

Saying that the only reason we have for predicting more success this year is "hope" is a ****ing worthless statement

This isn't a team that stood pat, the biggest weakness on the team was the offensive line and that got a major renovation. It's not blind homerism to expect the team to take a step forward, and they finished 9-7, so a 10-11-12 win season really isn't crazy.

I know 1 thing that's starting to piss me off a little.

Reading about how Andy Reid is gonna continue to shuffle the OL to try and find the best 5 guys, through camp.

Minicamp? Ok, I can see it.
OTAs? This is when you should have your starting 5 pretty well set

If they are going to expect the line to be improved, they BETTER set that starting 5 right away and let them work as a unit leading to the season opener.

The OL isn't always about the best 5 guys, it's about how well they perform as a cohesive unit.

If they think they can shuffle the line through camp and then just show up in Houston and block at a high level, it's gonna wreck the first few weeks of the season.

We simply cannot afford that.

You have to see who has improved, gotten healthy, and who has the best chemistry playing together. I have no problem with this all the way up to the 3rd Pre-season game, but he needs to have figured it out by then and have that unit play deep into the 3rd 1/4. I'm actually in favor of this. Give everyone a chance to earn those spots.

**** all of that.

The front 7s we face to start the year have very talented pass rushers that get paid millions to expose lines that aren't cohesive units. It takes more than just a couple quarters in a preseason game for the line to develop a bond. I feel the way they are shifting guys around to different positions and not setting the starting 5 and letting them gel is gonna hurt us in the first few games when we are gonna need to score points in bunches to win.

Then just ****ing admit that's all it is and shut the **** up.

Don't ****ing tell me that evidence shows that we are going to be better.

Eric Kush is so ****ing good he couldn't replace McGlynn on the line.
Jeff Allen has two craptastic seasons of play.
Donald Stepenson's only consistency has been his incontistency.

There's your ****ing evidence.

For all intents and purposes, the Donks are going to be a good team in 2015 because they've still got Peyton, and their new coach isn't Romeo Crennel. He might even be able to transition them into a more balanced offense that isn't so dependent on Peyton's arm to win games.

They'll be a good team... unless they aren't. And there's no way to prove that the changes they've made are going to work out. Their only reason for predicted success is hope.

The Patriots still have Brady and Gronk but lost some personnel in the offseason. There's no way to prove that they'll continue to be a good team. Their only reason for predicted success is hope.

It's the same ****ing thing across the board with all teams. So all we can do is look at the improvements each team made.

The Chiefs brought in a LOT of new personnel along the offensive line, which includes a mixture of veterans, a rookie, and last year's crew returning from injury. They lost ONE guy, and that makes you unwilling to say the Chiefs SHOULD improve in 2015 because it's just "hope"

See what I mean? It's a worthless ****ing take on your part. I know you're usually proud to be the asshole on the board, but on this one you're taking on the role of the dumbass. Sorry. Happens to the best of us from time to time.
