*** Official Royals Repository, Part 3 ***

I know people are worried about Minnesota but you really don't need to be. With 71 games to go they have to play 9 games over .500 to win 90 games which is a .563 winning percentage. That is higher than they have been pretty much all year.

For the Royals to get 91 wins they only have to play one game over .500 the rest of the way. Given that we likely finish closer to 95 wins their task becomes nearly insurmountable. I am not worried at all.

Also, more than enough games have been played to determine that Detroit and Cleveland are absolutely not a threat.

No, he drilled Cowens in the face. He broke White's wrist.

Its things like that which make me answer "the White Sox" when someone asks me if I have a MLB team that I hate.

I consider them to be our only rival. I don't really care that much about the other 3 teams other than the importance of winning a division game, but when the Royals beat Chicago, the sun seems to shine a little brighter.

suzzer99 07-19-2015 12:46 AM

Agreed - White Sox are scum

Vance Wilson is calling it a bruised knee and comparing it to a catcher taking a foul tip.

Can't sleep tonight & some trades have been running through my head with the A's.

A's have Kazmir, Zobrist & Reddick.

What would it take to get them?

Finnegan, Lamb, Dozier & Cuthbert.

Would the A's make that trade?

What a joke. Can you imagine this old man watching basketball or football? Oh man. He'd be so pissed. Steph Curry drills a step back three, does the 3-sign and high fives his teammates going down the court. LBJ dunks over some dude, and then stares him down and yells. This guy would FREAK OUT if he did any other sport. Old baseball guy cracks me up derp derp how dare you celebrate and have fun playing the game you love !!!!! how dare you!!!

Ha. I'd love all three of those guys, they would be perfect. Reddick is a goofy son of a bitch, though.

I still don't think A's are selling. I really don't. Better hope they go into the tank the next 2 weeks. They just won tonight in a walk off.

Why does it feel like Scott Kazmir is 39 years old to me? But he's not, good ripe age of 31.

For all you petegeezus' gnashing your teeth over the Twins:

Relax. They aren't catching the Royals. I said this before the ASG break and I'll say it again:
The AL Central is the hottest division in baseball and no team has been able to gain ground. FF'sS, enjoy this regular season. Worry when the postseason arrives.

Saul Good 07-19-2015 08:41 AM

Don't we have several Kazmir equivalents already?

lewdog 07-19-2015 08:54 AM

I've always hated the White Sox more than any other team. Glad they are holding up their end of the bargain with the bean ball talk.
