My biggest problem with Smith has always been pocket presence. He doesn't step away and make plays. Even Chase Daniel was vastly superior in this aspect when he stepped in. He panics, scrambles and despite his mobility has zero ability to throw on the run. It's shock8ng when he completes a pass when a play breaks down. This last loss wasn't all his fault, the whole offense blew, but it's time to move on or at least groom a replacement. He's good enough to get you there, but he's not good enough to win these games.

This offense is set up perfectly for a young QB to come in and have success. Top 10 pass blocking OL, Kelce, Maclin, Hill, Conley, Ware. |
What is the earliest we can plan on Smith being cut, released, concussion, etc....
How much longer til gone? |

who know, though. i honestly wouldnt be surprised if we traded him this offseason. i dont think itd be hard to trade him for a pick, teams are always desperate for qbs. plenty will be this offseason. |

To BOTH of you... Just because you disagree with "his side" of the smith argument does not make him any less useful than you. |
Gonna be a tough day for Chiefs fans watching Brady easily rip apart the Steelers pathetic secondary like any average downfield QB can do.
Hell Matt Moore barely missed 300 yards passing going 29/36 and having a 98 QB rating while Alex couldn't do anything. |
