The big takeaway from today is that Dick won’t go soft in hostile environments.

When he’s on, this is a national championship defending squad.

You're right, it certainly wouldn't help the coach's career and his program if they lost to KU football with the kind of fan investment that game would get. Hence the dodge.

Better to be safe and stick with Wake Forest at the trash dump that is the Trop. LMAO

One good dodge deserves another, amirite?

Besides, Wake Forest is a better team than Kansas. A win over them would be more impressive than beating the worst Power 5 program in football over the last decade.

If you all could maybe string together a couple 4-6 win seasons over the next couple years, it might help the SOS when we play you in 2025. Just don’t do the typical Kansas thing and win 3 or less every year, mmmkay?

Thanks in advance.

Man the entire KU social media department all the way up to the AD is dunking on Drunkwitz right now. Your football coach just couldn’t help but show his ass twice in one week and is getting dunked on nationally for it.

Like I said after his Tennessee comment, Drink should probably just stfu from now on.

Incredibly efficient player who plays great defense. His only flaw is he gets injured. His play on the cpurt has been fantastic.

Can't blame him for being cautious, you're right. Maybe a win over a Wake Forest will help get Coach Drink and his MU program all the way up to 7 wins for the first time in 2023.

I'm not sure what you think you're actually posting here, but those numbers are awful (9.8 PER which is 11th on the team, .091 WS/48 which is 11th on the team, 1.8 BPM which is 11th on the team). They also all came in spot minutes against mostly terrible teams, which makes it even worse.

He's not efficient offensively whatsoever (he has the 2nd highest turnover rate on the team), he can't shoot at all, and his defense is probably the worst among any of our regulars right now (he made two quick soft fouls today in the first half and got pulled for it). You're not making any sense on this.

Mr_Tomahawk 12-10-2022 08:34 PM

Wow.

MU is pathetic.

Demonpenz 12-10-2022 08:39 PM

This thread is insanity

Fair point.

Coach Drink has underachieved with Barry’s leftovers. He’ll finally have his whole own team (guys he recruited) to see what he can do. No more excuses. Absolutely must have 7+ wins next year.

I suppose it could be worse. Like not having a 7 win season since George W. Bush was the president of the United States. ;)

Hard to have a high PER when you have lowish usage. He's 2nd in effective in effective FG % of any person on the team. And 1st of any guy that plays actual minutes. Your hate on Bobby is very surprising. Hes the next good guard here if he can stay healthy. Reminds me alot of Frank Mason.

That's not the way PER works at all. Ejiofor and Udeh have nearly 20 PER for example with only a slightly higher usage.

And I don't hate Pettiford, but he objectively has been awful this season. Frank Mason was miles better than him from his very first game as a Jayhawk, they're not remotely comparable.

It definitely could. He could have lost to said program this month with all the fans watching and he knew it.

Admittedly, Missouri has NOTHING to gain from winning that game.

So Mizzou administration channeled their inner Bill Self (circa 2012) and said we’re not playing Kansas unless it benefits us. Sorry. Too bad for you guys.

But continue to cry about it. It’s fun to watch.
