I wifed the blonde (only one I "dated", actually), had crazy sex with the redhead (former collegiate gymnast) and was bored as shit by the burnettes.

If I were a betting man I'd say we miss out on this postseason this year and try and make a run next year. I won't be surprised if we make it, but given the circumstances I won't be upset if we don't. Hell, Moose is out for the year insert minor leaguer, Omar died insert minor leaguer, Gordon still a question mark in how his season will turn out, Morales turned into a pumpkin, SP a big question mark, etc. I think next year we try and make a run with Moore making some moves in the offseason, and if that fails and they're not in the mix at the break then one or two of Hosmer or Moose will be dealt at the deadline.
Glad we won it when we did though. Future is kinda 'who knows and wait and see' right now. |

We have scored 21 runs in 11 road games in June (1.9 runs per game).
In 7 of those 11 games we have scored 1 or less runs. Pretty disgusting. |

Of Hoz, Moose and Cain who do you see Moore re-signing? If I could only get one locked up I go with Hoz. |

The bigger abnormality is their play at home, which has many of us thinking that is the "real" Royals. If our play at home was more along the league average or even better, their play on the road would not seem so shocking. We are currently winning around 75% of our home games, which makes many think that is just how the Royals roll, but the truth is IMO the Royals overall are closer to the road team than the home team.

For some reason I was looking up how much MLB teams were paying in salary, how much salary they have on the DL, etc. and I came across the Mets and Bret Saberhagen.
He has been getting $250k every year since 2004 and it runs through 2028 when he'll be 64 years old. http://www.spotrac.com/mlb/boston-re...t-saberghagen/ Just thought that was interesting and my what nice contracts these players get. |

I am not a troll nor a Mets fan. I am a casual Royals fan/die hard Chiefs fan. I absolutely do not question that the Royals can win on the road. All I am saying is many like you ignore the Royals' home record while lamenting the road record. This is not last year's team. I am just saying that if you took the blue colored glasses off for a second, you would see the Royals for likely what they should be: a .500 ballclub. Only our uncanny ability to pull games out late (especially at home) has kept this from being a fact. By the way, it is possible to be critical of the Royals and still like them.

Again. I could give a rats ass about the Mets and most all baseball to be entirely honest. As stated earlier, I have a passing interest in the Royals, but Mets insults mean absolutely nothing to me. Only truly care enough about the Chiefs and Jayhawks for any insults to mean squat to me. Do feel free to continue to try to marginalize any opinion against your beloved Royals. I should probably say this Royals team is arguably the best MLB team in the last 20-30 years that should be threatening 120 wins this year if not for the voodoo hex put on them by the devil on the road. Is this more in line with your view of the world?

The same is this season as it was last season. With Esky at the top of the lineup. If Esky scores a run the Royals this year are 17-3.

I think the royals will win the central again this year. I trust Dayton to give us the right people as always.

Bought our tickets for Friday August 19th vs the Twins. Behind Twins dugout, 12 rows up.
Two years ago those tickets were $35 each. Now they are sitting around $90. |

Apparently Rustin Dodd reads this board because he stole my talking points about Hosmers poor defensive metrics. Cum out of the close Rustin and admit you read my posts. Thief!

Comes back to what I've been saying: If a defensive metric can rate Hosmer as the worst 1B in baseball, it is broken. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Let’s Talk About Eric Hosmer’s Defense |
I couldn't give a shit less about Hosmer's range and fielding when compared to his scoop rate and runs saved because of it. That's where he earns it defensively.
|
Lets hope it lowers his value on the FA market :)

So Gordon in the #2 spot and Esky bumped down in the order this weekend? That's the rumor going around.
Will Ned have the balls to make this move (which is the right move) ?? |

LoCain has the fourth highest split gap in MLB. Before this year he had almost no split gap.
