MU looks very similar now to how they did at the same point last year except, in my opinion they are a year older, more experienced and would appear to be better coached. Well and English is playing 1000% better. The only potential trouble spot I see is a lack of size but, when you shoot lights out from the perimeter that keeps that from being much of an issue. KU took probably their least talented team in years and stuck them with their most difficult non conference schedule in a long time and MU their has most experienced and probably most talented team since?? Carroll was playing for uncle Mike and took an easy noncon.I think the KU guys probably needed the experience and MU probably not so much. I really don’t have a good handle on how this season will play out but I could see MU, KSU, Baylor, KU at the top and finishing in any order you could pull out of a hat. It should be fun.

Agree. I'd be shocked if anyone wins more than 13 or 14 games in conference play and I wouldn't be surprised if there are 2-3 teams that are tied for 1st at the end of the year. There are a handful of good teams but they all have a weakness on paper. Matchups will be the key.

Maybe.

But...Self does have a better winning pct. than any of those coaches listed in the past 5 years...and a handful of conference championships.

Well if the other teams that Kansas dominates every year would ever be better then there would probably be a few more tourney wins in there. Just need the practice.

But when you make tourney 22 straight years and no one else is even close it's tough to compare.

This is true.

In my mind Kansas won the championship in 2003.

I even made a to-scale model of the trophy and it sits on my mantle.

And congrats to losing to every good team you played this year. Very impressive.

Good catch, GTown is decent. You've lost so many games recently it is hard to keep track of them all. Embarrassing considering mens basketball is the only sport your toilet school is even marginally good at.

Most wins in D1 men's hoops over the past decade.

Try harder!

3 losses this year, 1 to a school I've never even heard of.

Congrats?

Mighty impressive to beat a team that is missing the best player in the entire sport.

You should make a t-shirt for that big win.

Who exactly has MU beat this year?

And which one of those teams are still ranked?

KU has gone 2-2 against teams currently in the top 10.

How has MU done vs the top 10?

Congrats on winning lamest comeback of the day.

Not surprising that Wickeddumb chimed in with a mindless smilie on that hammer of a burn.
