JFC no one is saying the Chiefs WRs didn't make some good catches during the final drive (and Fasano's catch on one of the TD's was good as well).

Looking at the "entirety of the game" (as you cried about doing in a previous post)… there were far more good Alex Smith passes that were dropped by Chiefs WR's than crappy Alex Smith passes that were bailed out by great catches by Chiefs WR's.

That is the point… dumbshit.

What is true... and this goes back to the Vermeil days, this board expects offensive perfection pretty much. We gave up 535 yards today and what is everyone picking apart, the offensive mistakes. It really is maddening. I just can't handle it. You have to still play some measure of defense in this league to win. Even with the drops... the offense as a whole has played well enough to win playoff games the last couple weeks. That was not true the first 9 weeks of the season.

Sorry if the facts actually complicate the narrative, though.

Of all people on this entire message board you should know better.

JFC dude.

Then sure.

Smith played a good game. End of story. He made some great throws today with only a few bad ones. A low screen pass means shit compared to the good throws he made today.

Yeah the refs blew it! I have seen so many bad calls this season. Like I said if the game was called fair then it would have been a totally different game, I'm a Bronco fan, but I can admit when we get help from the refs, if the refs did not help us on a few calls the game would have a completely different ending. Who know what would have happened? It might be in overtime right now. MOst of all the grounding calls screwed the Chiefs and took the momentum away...

I thiunk we need to fly a banner to send a warning...

Now we'll hear all about, "We'll, we 9-3 and in the hunt." That and "Well, we were 2-14 last year." That, and, "Well nobody expected us to do this well, so it's all good."

I can see the "there's nothing to worry about" crowd letting 1 Arrowhead Way know that the hemorrhaging that's being described as a scrape is OK.

How many bad drops were there and how many great catches were there?

Please, show me where I placed the blame at the feet of Alex Smith.

That's the weird thing about all this. The past two weeks may have been the best offensive performances of the season, and our defense suddenly started channeling Eric Hicks and William Bartee. Are other teams this schizophrenic on offense and defense?

I'll go ahead and say it again.

Avery, Cooper, and Lewis need to fist themselves.

Yep. This defense that was racking up sacks early on now can't buy one. That is one of the biggest reasons for the losing slide.

Don't forget fasanos huge drop right on the money that would have been a 30+ yard gain on 3rd down and kept a crucial 3rd quarter drive alive and put us inside Denver territory and almost within fg range.

And Bowe had a big 3rd down drop too.

If anyone wants to blame Smith for this game- you're ****ing blind and clueless.

GloryDayz 12-01-2013 07:22 PM

Alex Smiff on Metro Sports blowing it off like it doesn't matter...

Yeah, THAT'S the problem. They won't fix anything!
