FAX

This means. Rich people didn't get rich by being ****ING STUPID.

I'd say most thirty-somethings and older believe that "I'll bet you...." means it's a real ****ing bet, because a man's word means something to us.

If a man says, "I'll bet you" followed by anything, it's a bet. And bets are honored.

Not all, but a large part of your generation could give two shits.

JMHO.

On the internet? Seriously? I am 38, a grown man. I work with millionaires on a daily basis at work and that has to be one of the dumbest comments I have ever heard.

Do you like the thought of partying with a high powered exec from Warner Brothers and Fez in Vegas, along with a semi-coherent (presumably) Lindsay Lohan? If so, you are MORE than welcome to jump in.

There are plenty of guys who got rich by being ****ing stupid and having a mean jump shot.

If a friend of yours says "I'll bet you $5 that...", that's one thing. If some person you'll never meet on a football message board says "I'll bet you $1,000,000 that...", that's another thing entirely.

I stand corrected.

Once again, you just don't get it. I'm married, and 46 years old. Have been for almost 14 years. I have 3 kids. I'm a fairly well-traveled technical trainer who has worked for Microsoft, Compaq/HP, and IBM. I've taught in North America, Europe and Asia. Yeah, I'm big. I was a D1 athlete that blew out both his knees and I have a heart condition from over-training. Training for my sport will do that.

You are cordially invited to kiss my ass.

Hilarious.

You're a ****ing moron.

To even argue this...you're just a ****ing moron.

"I bet you a million dollars I can't get that girls number over there!"

ROFL

Just a ****ing moron...

Dane's calling...he needs his fluffing.

So, your integrity stops at the door leading to the ****ing internet?

Wouldn't shock me if you said yes, it seems it's the case with many people.

No accountability, hide behind a keyboard.

Personally, my integrity doesn't waver based on whether I'm speaking directly to someone or typing, but that's just me.

It's less about Dane's real life, and more about your lack of worldliness.

Get out of the county and live a little, Huckleberry.

And you know as well as anyone that I share maybe 1/100th of 1 percent of what goes on in my life on a daily basis.

I'll admit it: Getting caught up in another Hootie thread was my lack of better judgment.

Every once in a while, for some unknown reason, I try to reason with Hootie. Try to act as a mentor.

My "I'll bet you a million" remarks were intended to make him think. Of course, they didn't. They just spurred a barrage of insults, which happens quite frequently when engaging Hootie.

It's really a shame. Once he's out of college, life is going to kick his ****ing ass because to date, he's lived an inconsequential life with absolutely no consequences for his actions (many of which are not only despicable but very illegal).

Thank God somebody is the voice of reason. Anybody who expects strangers on the internet to make good on their outlandish promises has probably sent a lot of money to Nigerians.

Obviously, you're just going to the wrong places on the internets.
