So you have some radio taking head speculating what it might take to get Fitz to waive.

There's been speculation that he would like to play for Haley, and whether you recognize it or not, the Chiefs are on the upswing.

I think the best chance for the Chiefs to get him would be to trade for him before he can opt to walk on the open market. If he walks after the '11 season then yes there will be much better teams after his services that the Chiefs would need to compete with.

And the Patriots are not afraid to throw money around, just because the MO of the Patriots Way is to buy low and sell high, doesn't mean they havent given 30 year old guys like Corey Dillion and Adalius Thomas 30 million contracts without thinking twice. The Pats have done it, they just dont do it often thats all.

What don't you understand about a no-trade clause?

Or to play for the coach he said he'd go to Canada to play for?

Whatever you like to think. Certainly stranger things have happened, and Fitz is a very inward-looking dude (seriously).

He probably had a lot of time to think back when he was traveling the world with Jared Allen and Boomer Grigsby.

I took out the non-SB contender part because who knows what will happen in the next 2 years?
LMAO at the world-traveling comment.

You can read his direct quotes straight from the horses mouth.

In case you missed it, Fitz seems to think that Cassel is a good QB, and his performance against the Cards did nothing to alter Fitz's thinking there.

You've convinced me Milk, I'm sold. Fitz to KC.

I'm not selling anything.

I'm just pointing out that speculation is just that.

Larry Fitzgerald is the only one who really knows what Larry Fitzgerald is thinking.

100% agreed. Only reason I even stick my nose in is because I hear a lot of talk about Fitz in a non-Chiefs capacity. What you say is true though, you don't hear much of that talk from Fitz.

What was funny? There's nothing that forces Larry Fitzgerald to gush about Todd Haley the way he does.

If the Chiefs meet the Cardinals asking price, I highly doubt Fitzgerald is going to block such a move.
