It feels like we've sucked so far this year and we are only 1/2 game back from the best record in the AL. Times have changed....

Not really a complaint but, well sorta is a complaint: buck nights are on Thur this season. I just looked up to see if it was Friday as my wife is taking our son with his school friends Fri.....but nope! Don't need fri promos anymore

So glad they did this. Weekend night games are supposed to be fun to attend, not annoying. Buck nights are a shit show of white trash trying to feed their kids on shitty $1 dogs and nachos.

Didn't they get rid of a lot of $1 items on buck night? For some reason I remember it only being hot dogs and peanuts last year.

No idea. I haven't been to a buck night in a few years. Seriously hard to watch the game when the trash rolls in and just let their kids run wild.

Well, it's not exactly easy to sell upper Tank seats in a small market without promos. Or a winning team which we fortunately have now.

Oh I understand why they ran the promo. Made perfect since when we were awful.

I went to a couple of Buck Nights last year. Kept swearing them off, then would end up at the next one. Seriously, the first one last year took me two hours to get in the lot. We were late to the game. Went to get some food, and ended up waiting in line for nearly two innings. It was a horrible experience. I love the winning, and full stadiums are fun, but there is definitely a part of me that misses the smaller crowds. Don't think I'd trade it though. The last two years have validated my life long fandom.

God forbid you have to sit next to poor people! What a travesty.

I went to a buck night game 4 or 5 years ago. I had to wait in line for an inning and a half for a stupid hot dog. I swore them off after that. I'd much rather pay an extra couple of bucks and still get to watch the game.

At Dodgers Stadium you can pay a lot of money and still wait in line 2 innings for a beer and hot dog. It's lovely.

I've never had a problem at dodger stadium, not once.

So you've never been?

Probably a dozen times. Other than all asshats doing the wave and playing with beachballs rather than watching the game, it has always been good experience. Love the stadium.
