The condition of the field is a relatively minor issue compared to the safety of people getting to the game.

I'm 3 hours away in Lebanon, and they're saying a half inch of ice here. MoDOT has already sent out a "no travel" press release basically begging people to stay home this weekend. Went to Wal-Mart this morning before work, and they were completely out of bottled water, white bread, and skim milk. Sutherland's was also fresh out of generators.

I guess it's officially that time of the year. :(

As for me, I'm feeling justified in my choice. There are comparable tickets available right now for about half of what I sold mine for.

I just hope people can get to the game. It'd be a real shame for one of the biggest games at Arrowhead in its history to be played in front of an empty stadium.

This may be why Kansas City has not been a Super Bowl site yet, now that I think about it.

And for God's sake, ease up on the drinking a bit.

Tickets are selling for as low as $32 on the secondary market right now. That speaks to a ton of people who aren't planning to be there and are just hoping to get a couple bucks back.

My wife and I are traveling with a 2 year old who will be staying with my parents if we end up going. We're thinking about canceling. I'd never forgive myself if something happened to them because of a football game. Ugh.
