You're wrong... Goodell's job is to extract cash and ratings. It is the bulk of the money the NFL makes. You really think the story in Dallas is more intriguing than a match-up of the two best QBs in the NFL...one that is disgruntled and nearing the end of his career?? Rodgers vs. Brady is the play. Dallas may get their shot down the road...ratings took a hit this year, they need to prop them up.

The battle of the Harbaugh Brothers was one of the lowest rated SBs in recent memory....why? No Brady or Manning... Goodell learned a lot from that one.
