I'm waiting on these bad boys to come in. They're going in our Supercharged Coyote swapped '66 fastback.

Been waiting....3 months now? They're apparently still in Germany.

Those seats were built custom...

Should have just put these in it.

Looks to me like they did a little swapparoo.

My 92 Mercedes came with factory Racaro's front and rear.

No they weren't.

I'm a procar dealer. I've had countless "Eleanors" roll through my shop, and they all rock those shit seats. I know that seat all too well.

Procar sells all of their seats in uncovered foam if you choose so, so that you can have them custom upholstered. Which is what you have pictured there.

That is a ProCar seat, and they did some custom work around them.

It's the same seat. They're not custom. They're just uncovered. We've installed them here. I KNOW that seat.

Strange to build a $150,000 car and put $300 seats in it.

If we were building a $150,000 car and the customer asked us to put those in, we'd talk him out of it.

Unless they just HAD to HAVE an Eleanor clone....

You are right they were Procar frames and pads that were reworked. Good eye.

See...i have a problem with this car. I'm not trying to pick on your friend here, but....if i saw this at SEMA i'd nitpick the shit out of it.

Gah. Sometimes i hate that about myself. But the man who taught me, taught a certain way, and that our builds have to meet those standards. This would not meet our standards.

I know i sound like a total ass saying that...my bad.

ToxSocks 07-24-2018 03:45 PM

And that's not to say they didn't do some great work here. They did. But we would've done things different. Alright, that's enough. Not trying to be a hater though im sounding that way right now.

It's just that when we go to shows, we study what others do and nitpick the shit out of it. So i've gotten really anal about certain things.

I see a really ugly theme with some of their interiors.

I do like some of their cars but holy shit this is ugly just like the Mustang interior. Damn near the exact same thing in a different uglier color.

Yeah, they're using those ProCars again and surrounding it with that sheetmetal, just like in the Chrysler.

I was scoping out the '69 Chevelle...and then there i go nitpicking again.
