Mizzou was undefeated outside of conference. That's pretty strong.

Did anyone hear Hubert Davis? I didn't get to hear all of his comments, but I don't think I have ever heard him say anything complimentary about MU.

Nah. You poke sticks at us from time to time, but overall, you're cool.

Cody is nothing more than a ****ing troll.

To each their own I guess. I personally want them to play as many games in front of a friendly crowd as possible. Some of the other big teams enjoy it year in and year out in the tournament.

JFC we would kick the shit out of Duke RPI or not.

I agree. MU is a far better version of Duke's team. They actually play some level of defense.

Their non-con SoS is 314.... KU's is 50, UK's is 142, MSU 178, UNC 77, Syracuse 211, Duke 14...

A consideration will be to the strength of the non-con wins.

Each team has a couple "That's pretty strong" attributes in their pocket.

KU was the only B12 team not to get swept by a another B12 team.

KU Was the only team to go undefeated at home.

They beat one(1) team in the nonconference that will be playing in the NCAA tournament. That's not strong.

If MU had gotten another win over an elite team like KU in front of them, it would have definitely helped their case to at least move in front of them on the S-curve. As it stands, all the teams in front of them had stronger schedules and better wins.

To be honest....I would prefer to be a 2nd Seed that gets to play in STL than a 1st Seed that gets sent West

gblowfish 03-10-2012 07:46 PM

I was very moved by Frank Haith after the game. He told ESPN "Go talk to the players," then he went over and hugged his wife and daughter and shed some tears. Guy has had a season for the ages, and really earned the respect of Mizzou fans this year.

Kansas City IS Mizzou. I don't care how many billboards KU's marketing weasels put up. Sure, they own Johnson County, but they don't own dick in Jackson County.

As a lifelong Missouri fan, I hope Mizzou can finally, FINALLY make a final four, although it's certainly not expected. Any team with a tall front line will give Mizzou fits in the NCAA. And we've been disappointed so many times, you can't help but be paranoid.

This weekend was sweet. Great way to leave the Big 12. It's been fun. I'll miss Mizzou being in the tourney next year.

2013: Go KSU Wildcats!

That should be helpful in the tournament.

They beat two (ND and somehow Cal is getting in). Either way, the non-conference schedule wasn't strong enough to award a 1 for MU.
