I remember when it went to 2.75. At that time our collective fuel bill simply to go to work was 450/month for my wife and I. Needless to say we a have since move closer to the city. Before we lived in a little rural area that was awesome. Yeah....can't do that again.
I was driving a Chevy Malibu 2005 and my wife a vw beetle 2006. So both got decent mileage.

Wow, Donger must be in a good mood. Not only is he lowering the price of gas for us, he also shortened the OP after seven ****ing years.

Gas over $3 is a ball buster.

Personally, I wont be happy until I see it near $2. I still remember how pissed I was the day it went over $2, but that's a workable number.

Nope, I don't have to travel much. We spent a total of $75 last month on gas.

It didn't even occur to me to do that, until someone asked for it to be shortened. Weird people.

Could be an interesting day. Crude already down another $1.44 today at $80.40. Saudis are beginning to get anxious.

Like I said, it didn't occur to me.

Why are the Saudis crying all of the sudden?

Because 90% (or some ridiculous amount) of their revenue comes from crude sales. Crude at $80/barrel puts them into deficits.
