NOOOOOOOOO!

TYRON WAS DESTINED FOR GREATNESS!!!

Jaguars released DB Tyron Brackenridge.
A special teamer, Brackenridge was deemed expendable with Jacksonville apparently on the verge of finishing a contract with SS Dawan Landry.

I'm an aggie fan and I don't want Warren. He's a broke dick.

O. I. C.

Patriots released DE Ty Warren.
Warren missed the entire 2010 season with a torn labrum in his hip. It's the kind of injury that can linger for more than a year, and in this case it likely has. Warren was due just $3.1 million and would have been a good bet to start at left end if healthy.

According to Joe Buscaglia of WGR 550 in Buffalo, the Bills have "legitimate interest" in free agent LB Kevin Burnett.
The two sides are expected to resume talks "in a day or two," presumably to allow Burnett to shop around. The San Diego Union-Trib now considers Burnett as good as gone, as he's priced himself out of GM A.J. Smith's plans.

I wonder how Warren's hip is. That would make too much sense if he's healthy.

Interesting...Todd Haley says (via 810's audio) that re-signing their own guys may be a bigger priority this year.

He wasn't saying they weren't looking to sign other guys, or that they didn't need to bring in other guys. He said keeping their own players is always a priority, but maybe moreso this year because of the circumstances with the lockout.

That's all he was saying.

Another Eagle becomes a Cardinal: Former Eagles LB Stewart Bradley will agree to terms with the Cardinals later today.

We'll probably bring in Warren for a look at his hip.

If he's healthy, he's a Chief.

And the Patriots are using a lot of 4-3 these days so he doesn't fit there that well.

Ty Warren texted me saying the Pats were “going in a different direction defensively.” (via @kguregian)

Doesn't look like he is going back to the Pats

I would think the Chiefs would be more likely to bring in Nick Kaczur over Warren

With so many teams transitioning to the 3-4 I wonder if the Pats are moving back to a 43 base defense.

Hammock Parties 07-29-2011 01:35 PM

Pats fans seem to think Warren will be back for less money.

They want him back.
