I thought about that team instead of 1976 team but I went with the '76 team because it was the first playoff team. It holds a place in my heart even though the 2014 team got to game 7 of the WS.

It is pretty funny how many times Ryan sneaks that story in about how Sweeney broke up that no hitter. What is even more funny is that I can remember where I was when Sweendog broke that up. I have watched a shitload of bad baseball over the years.

It was a long race, but he has finally gotten to the lead.

The team is nicely putting together a little run here. They're going to need some help, and they're going to have to stay hot for a prolonged period of time, but I never give up on this bunch.

Let's sweep the Tigers tonight. Then the Twins.

They need Gee to back ass into a solid outing or 2.

Being satisfied with five innings/two turns through the lineup would be a good start to that.
