He has some damn good points and yes there are question marks with Andy Reid however all coaches that are retreads are going to have some kind of flaw or they'd still be hired.

Jasons attachment to KC is now severed. He can move on to things like he did yesterday calling Thomas Sowell a house n.......
Go away jason. |
Whitlock is right as usual, even if some don't want to admit it right now. Reid seems like a clear improvement on what they had and his presence meant the end of Pioli (the biggest benefit of his hiring), but the Eagles have been a complete underachieving shitshow for a few years now. There's a reason Philly badly wanted him out. He certainly wouldn't have been my #1 choice, but I'll accept it for now if it means real change.

Whitlock is dead on.
Reid is pass-happy, created a free agent roster disaster and is grossly overrated. |

Some days I agree with Whitlock, sometimes I don't. Very strong in his opinions, misguided or not.

As far as pass happy... newsflash... that is how you win in today's NFL. |

I have the very same reservations about Reid, but at this point, I am very happy about the addition by subtraction.
No more Patriot way, Scott Pioli or Matt Cassel. The latter went on 3 1/2 years longer than it should have. 3 1/2 years of my life I will never get back. I have given all of the HC hires the benefit of doubt all the way back to Paul Wiggen until the show they can't do the job. Until Andy Reid proves he doesn't deserve my support, I am 100% behind him. Right now he is batting 0 for 0 as the KC Head Coach. |
Reid is a good coach, but JW brings forward a point of concern when he says Reid's success was always coupled with DC Johnson's defense.
I welcome Reid's WCO offense -- it will fit the offensive personnel in place, mostly. |
