I hardly ever use the Capital One Card anymore. I originally opened it to transfer the balance on my Chase because it has a 0% Transfer Rate and also 0% Interest on the first 18 months of the card. I haven't used the Walmart Card except for the first time when I put about $1300 on it, I got 1 year free interest, and I have 3 months left to pay off the remaining $260 on it in order to not pay the full interest of the entire purchase. The Firestone Card only works at Firestone, so whenever I buy tires I use it. The Loan I got was $5800, $6600 after interest. I pay $184 a month on that. Its a 36 month loan and I am 19 months in. When I checked my Credit Score in January it was over 680. Hopefully I'm over 700 now. |

What kind of reward points do you guys get? I've thought about starting to pay my bills with a CC and then paying it off each month to get reward points.

Plus I get double/triple points when paying a utility bill, using it for gas or at the grocery store. |
About thr same time I paid off two lines of credit, my most used card bumped my line to 40K.

I got 1 for 1k
1 for 900 or so I'm rebuilding my credit after a tumultuous early 20's...I got in a dispute over a fee on a card back then and stupidly refused to pay......dumb move. Although I was able to buy my house 6 years ago, so maybe it's not as bad as I thought. |
I think my Discover has around a $9k limit on it. It never comes close to it though. I use it to pay for almost everything for the 1% cash back, and pay it off every month.

Schwab credit card - no annual fee - rebates 2% into your Schwab investment account monthly. For business if you charge a ton and pay it off 10 days early, Amex Plum is the bomb - $7k and counting cash back this year.... DT |
