Wow, 2012 really could be the end of the world.

Don't get to excited until the Commish actually confirms it.. Sports teams and franchises love to **** with KC and her hopes..

If it happens, take any and all opportunities to support it and take part.
This has been an incredible week here in STL, and I hope you guys get to experience it as well. |
If this is the case then Jackson County might want to get to work now on and upgrading the area around the Truman Sports Complex.
I had the chance to attend a game at the "new" K during the 4th of July weekend and it is a nice stadium with lots of restaurant options, etc. but that isn't enough to compensate for the complete lack of anything right outside of the Truman Sports Complex (and Taco Bell, the Phillips 66 gas station and the Wendy's down the road don't count). |

it seems like a great opportunity for, say, a sports bar or something - a place to go after the Chiefs noon games, or a place to go for the few people that go to tailgate without tickets to the game. |
Its been played in Pittsburgh 3 ****ing times since '74. BS!

A nice parting gift prior to 12-21-12!

I'm thinking they can use Arrowhead for some of the festivities. Hell turn Arrowhead into one huge bar for that weekend. Would have to allow people on the field to properly work it, but I heard we are putting in astroturf anyway, so can lay down some sort of flooring for that weekend.
Completely renovated 70k+ stadium sitting right next door with nothing better to do that weekend. |
I went to the All-Star game in 73. Amos Otis started for the Royals. Some others who were there, Reggie Jackson, Hank Aaron, and Willie Mays. God I am old. :shake:

How to you go about getting all star game tickets and how early can you get them?
