Lenny the Cool, then Green, then Deberg. I was also a big Kenney fan. He had to be the greatest at being able to deliver the ball from a prone position (bad o-lines in those days).

During the 1960s the Chiefs franchise were the only club to capture three American Football League (AFL) championships. Coached by Hank Stram, the team had one of the AFL’s most feared defenses. Quarterback Len Dawson, a five-time passing champion and future Hall of Fame member, led the offense.

For me it's a tie Dawson / Montana.

GRBAC!! Ok, sorry, that's not even funny.
|
Never really liked any of them that I've seen. Dawson was around before I was born. I admired Deberg because he wasn't a pu$$y like Montana, but none of the one's I've seen have been better than average for the most part.

Ahhh the Fuller and Kenny days of 8-8 :thumb:

Dawson is the franchise. After that Green has to be up there and Montana. Gannon was popular. Krieg and DeBerg just were good enough to get the job done. Then we have had too many crappy quarterbacks to name.
|
If Dawson could have played in todays game and rules.... Oh my.
Dawson Green Kenny Montana DeBerg As for backups ........ Gannon Livingston |
Has anyone mentioned Mike Livingston. He led the Chiefs in 9 games during their SB win season.

that would be like a bears fan not mentioning sid luckman in their list of alltime best bears qbs... he was a hall of famer and alltime great, but VERY FEW people today know who the fuck he was -EB- |
Now the most accurate QB we ever had in the history of the team......
An Oakland castoff.... Tom Flores, his last year in the NFL as a player. 1969 .... 1 attempt and 1 completion for 33 yards. |
