Unless they've changed it from 1999, MO didn't charge State Income Tax for military members.

Believe me, it was a shock in 2000 when I had to pay MD state tax the first time. :eek:

Some states, as long as an income isn't made in that state - they are tax exempt. NY was that way. BUT, if I had been stationed in NY, I would've had to pay taxes. Thankfully, I haven't been a "resident" of that state in over 10 years.
