I wouldn't feel too guilty about driving one if you really have a need for it. I have a friend who's a bricklayer that has some F-250 diesel monstrosity so he can move his scaffolding trailer once every two weeks, the rest of the time he's stuck driving the fuel-guzzling bitch.
But Simplex probably isn't too far off when he says 90% of them are status symbols for soccer moms and men who are trying to compensate for other inadequecies.
