Does your Friend's Mom's career matter to you? My wife is a nurse. And I as a Pastor have been drilled about the Hippa laws. I am well aware of the reprocussions that could occur from her sharing with the public (or sharing with someone that shares with the public) info concerning patients - and that with the average Joe. This is dealing with a nationaly known person and an organization with a big wallet that is serious about keeping a lid on info. No way would I have put a friend's family in that place just to try and break some "News" on the net before anyone else.

I honestly don't expect him to play again. I'm sure he would like to but I think he stands alone in that belief.

I don't know Trent or his wife Julie but I do have a friend that is close to Julie from their IU days and have told me she is adamant that he retire. Given they are financially secure and that he is already near the tail end of his career anyway I would be very surprised if her voice of reason doesn't win out.

I see where you are coming from-but explain the TO case-they blasted across the news he tried to commit suicide-5 minutes after he was admited. I am not trying to break any scoop-I was just stating I heard IMO very reliable info that TG's injury was WAY more serious than ANY news report has stated-take it for what it worth.
