ChiefsLV cornerback (6-1, 165lbs): Tends to play down to the level of competition. Subpar strength for NFL standards, managed only 10 presses in the 175lbs benchpress and possesses only 13" biceps. Poor overall fitness level, gets winded easily after one or two plays. Demonstrates an overall lack of desire in maintaining adequate cardivascular health. Severe lack of core body strength is a major concern. Body type/frame is too skinny to add necessary bulk required for the position. Somewhat resembles the wiry kicker in "The Replacements" although chest is much more defined. Still, any kind of resemblance to the wiry kicker is of major concern. Has excellent speed, but does not possess necessary balance to consider speed much of a threat. Hand-eye coordination is a major concern. Struggles catching bullet passes. Fails to consistently catch any pass. Almost complete inability to catch an over-the-shoulder pass if over left shoulder.
As a cornerback, able to cover short to medium range routes well. Has a tendency not to turn around and locate the ball when it is in the air. Lacks adequate football reaction skills for the position. Very accurate short to medium range passer. Provides excellent spiral and zip on the ball. Has good judgement and vision. Does not always identify deep safeties' ability and/or position on the field, leading to interceptions on some deep passes. Tends to lose awareness in the heat of the battle, often forgetting important details, like what down it is. And with the 23rd pick in the first round, the Chiefs select ChiefsLV! |
