I haven't seen shit from Samie OR Hall which makes me want them back. I'd rather have late round or even undrafted rookies on the team. Samie is just shit. He can't get catch the fucking thing and its ALL HE HAS TO DO. He doesn't have to clean the locker room (altho there might be an opening there now that Dick Curve got promoted), he doesn't have to answer the phones, doesn't have to lock the office after work he just has to catch the freaking ball.

We don't really have that option. Our DTs (that aren't even signed) are the weakest in the NFL. Our LBs are among the worst. Our safeties (at least until we see Pollard and Page starting -- maybe), too. Then there's the horseshit embarrassment of an OL we have.

And it's not like we have a solid QB position.

He's got a big heart, he's young, and he wants to block.

I'm torn on this, actually. Herm loves young, passionate players that love to get dirty, so you'd think Samie would be perfect for him as a #3 or a #4. But he also hasn't proven himself with the occasional long ball, and he's not ascending, so those are two big negatives for Herm.

So sure what's going to happen with Samie, but it wouldn't kill us to keep him around for a low price.

This team is in a mess and it will take more than one year to get it back on track to be competive... We are looking at 2 years at 8-8 with breaks or below.

We have a coach that is great at getting talent, so hopefully in 09, we can compete for a playoff berth.

Contrary to some of the "experts" commentary I believe this draft is deep at the WR position. I would be surprised if a WR isn't the BAA when we are picking. Some combination of Meachum, Rice and Jarrett will likely still be on the board when we are picking and I think any of the three would be a very pick up.
