Parker I think it is a great policy and make sure you enforce it on some of the other DC people who hardly ever frequent the Lounge either

Geezus H...
Posts counts have nothing to do with being a contributing member of the board. The DC area is here just for the likes of Denise... I have no issues with that area, I never visit it b/c I like to avoid the BS. Might as well close this thread and just accept the reality. Actually, closing this thread will just keep topics about her in the DC area... where they belong. Carry on, I'm done. |

There's a lot of hypocricy that goes on around here sometimes. And singling out denise for banning when some of the other long time regulars around here are far worse is hypocritical, IMO. I don't begrudge them for being assholes and they shouldn't begrudge denise for being an asshole. You say I don't know the whole story but those who want her banned are referring to the things she says and how she says it. If that's it, that's hypocritical. If it's something that the rest of us don't know about then we shouldn't be having a poll. |

But if this is a policy then IMHO it needs to be enforced across the board. There are several DC members that rarely post over here and contribute very little except in DC. |

Get off it already. More conservatives have been banned from this place than liberals, after all that's what this is about for you, isn't it? Were you a member of the KC Star message boards before this place was formed? If you weren't, then you don't know the whole story and that's the long and short of it. |

That being said, I keep forgetting Jimmy Wilkerson is from Omaha. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/player?statsId=6525 I went over there and practiced last night. Those ****sticks almost won State last year. |

Truthfully, in the short term this is going to suck for everyone. That hard-headed bitch won't just leave, she's going to drop her stupidity into the Lounge more frequently. The upside is that she's also too f**king dumb to leave the politics alone and since every issue, political or not, relates to Bush in her small, twisted mind, within three months she'll have pissed off enough more people that her dumb ass will get banned. |
Forum owners can do what they want. That said, during the offseason the fraction of board traffic that has anything to do with football is pretty small. If political threads are put in the DC subforum, then who cares if she's overly "political"? Pretty silly IMO to have a DC subforum and then ban someone for posting their political views.
Most of us were brought here by our connection to the Chiefs, but this board evolved long ago into a broader community discussion board -- I think that's a good thing and I hope it continues. Also, I don't pay close enough attention to know the political leanings of the mods suggesting the ban, but I'd question whether or not this new policy would also apply to people on the other side of the aisle. In my view there's just as much (if not more) right-wing "political garbage" on this board than left-wing "political garbage". |

If you took a rational look ‘round you’d probably notice that. Want an example? Mad-Profit-Margin was a guy from Chicago that only posted in DC. I liked the guy even though I typically disagreed with’im, and he was banned ‘cause he didn’t discuss football. When he was warned, he basically said, “I’ll do what I want where I want”, the reply was, “no you won’t” and he was banned. Denise has skirted this for years, and I don’t really understand why. She’s a troll, plain and simple, and trolls get banned. It’s what they’re for. |

It's not "Broken". It's just EASILY circumvented. |
