Regardless, both species are smarter than you.

Pitbulls only get mean because of their owners abuse them and think the species are around for one thing only.

That's right, leave pit bulls alone! Pit bulls are no more agressive as a breed than collies, black labs, or blood hounds.

The same holds true for lions. My uncle had a lion that he raised as a cub and was so gentle it would eat right out of your hand. I also saw a black bear once at a circus that could ride a unicycle. How many agressive animals ride unicycles? I think everybody should own pit bulls and lions and bears, and let them walk around unleashed. These animals are only mean if their raised that way, and if you think other wise you have been blinded by the liberal media forcing their agendas on you.

Dumbest post ever. Are people allowed to own Lions & Tigers?

I wish could would let some pitbulls tear you apart.

If you survived because the pitts enjoyed eating the fat in your gut instead your throat and you were dying slow then I would just put your worthless fatass down.

How interesting you lead off this gem with "Dumbest post ever".

I found this little tidbit on dog bites from http://www.dogbitelaw.com/PAGES/statistics.html.
Quote:

The dogs that are most responsible
Merritt Clifton, editor of Animal People, has conducted an unusually detailed study of dog bites from 1982 to the present. (Clifton, Dog attack deaths and maimings, U.S. & Canada, September 1982 to November 13, 2006; click here to read it.) The Clifton study show the number of serious canine-inflicted injuries by breed. The author's observations about the breeds and generally how to deal with the dangerous dog problem are enlightening.

According to the Clifton study, pit bulls, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios and their mixes are responsible for 74% of attacks that were included in the study, 68% of the attacks upon children, 82% of the attacks upon adults, 65% of the deaths, and 68% of the maimings. In more than two-thirds of the cases included in the study, the life-threatening or fatal attack was apparently the first known dangerous behavior by the animal in question. Clifton states:

If almost any other dog has a bad moment, someone may get bitten, but will not be maimed for life or killed, and the actuarial risk is accordingly reasonable. If a pit bull terrier or a Rottweiler has a bad moment, often someone is maimed or killed--and that has now created off-the-chart actuarial risk, for which the dogs as well as their victims are paying the price.
I think this statistic confirms many people's suspicion that certain breeds of dogs like Pit Bulls, are genetically predisposed to agressive behavior regardless of the owner.

A Lion is a Lion a Bear is a Bear and Pit Bull is a Pit Bull. Why are people constantly surprised when animals do what they are designed to do? Idiocy.

The only dogs I've been around that are inherently mean are Sharpei's. I believe they are Chinese fighting dogs. Any pit I've ever been around is a fairly docile, nice dog. However, since the thug assclowns feel they need to train them to fight, certain pits are pre-disposed to violence because that's all they know. In that case, the owners should be put to death, not the dog. The dog is only doing what it's been trained to do in most cases.

I hate to see people who don't know how to take care of a dog like a Pit Bull. If people did, Pit Bulls wouldn't have such a bad rep, they would still have one. But I don't belive they would be as bad if people handled them correctly.
