Exactly, Mr. BigChiefDave. But, they think that there's more to us than that.

Women, in general, cannot believe that all we care about are sex, sports, and mind-altering substances. They want to believe that we have a lot more than that going on upstairs. They think, for example, that we really care about her drapery selections and frozen dessert molds, but that we just don't show it. Ergo, mystery.
